Smash or pass? “Vermont Creemee” no churn ice cream featuring Mixed Up Nut Butter and Unique Belgique waffles.
So, In Vermont you can get a soft serve “creemee” flavored with maple syrup in a waffle cone. Inspired by the flavor I decided to make an ice cream. Instead of a waffle cone I chopped up a pearl sugar waffle and drizzled in the nut butter. The result is like a next level butter pecan ice cream.
8 oz jar of '“Maple Creemee” nut butter, or nut butter of your choice :)
Directions
In a medium bowl or stand mixer, whip the heavy cream and vanilla until it starts to hold peaks.
Fold in the condensed milk until no streaks are visible, then mix in chopped waffle.
In a loaf pan, pour in half the ice cream mixture, then drizzle in half the nut butter. Add the rest of the ice cream mixture, and drizzle in the rest of the nut butter.
