Classic chocolate nut butter cups, reimagined with Vermont flair. Dark chocolate meets "Maple Bliss", Our Maple Walnut Pecan Nut Butter and fresh banana slices for a creamy, maple-nutty center that’s as satisfying as it is simple. Keep them in the freezer for the perfect grab-and-go treat that feels indulgent but not overdone.
Ingredients
- 2 cups dark chocolate chips (60–70% cocoa works best)
-
1-2 tablespoons coconut oil (optional, for smoother melting)
-
½ cup Maple Bliss Nut Butter
-
1 medium ripe banana, sliced into rounds
- Pinch of flaky sea salt (optional, for topping)
Directions
Line a standard muffin tin with 12 paper liners.
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate chips and coconut oil in 30-second bursts, stirring until smooth.
Spoon about 1 teaspoon melted chocolate into each liner. Tilt the pan so chocolate coats the bottom evenly. Place one banana slice in each cup. Freeze for 5 minutes until firm.
Drop in ½–1 teaspoon of the nut butter mixture in the center of each cup, atop the banana slice.
Spoon another teaspoon of melted chocolate over each banana-nut butter cup, spreading gently so it covers completely.
Top with flakey salt (optional). Freeze for 30 min, or until set.
Enjoy!
